my new address box:
some l o v e l y creator on etsy inspired this little box of cards, but i can't remember who. i'll get back to you on that. ~~~~~~~ !!! the time came to update my correspondence, but there was little room left in my william wegman address book, which had seen years of scratches and scribbles as everyone moved and changed phone numbers. this design enables me to replace a card with a new card! I also made an additional section with cards for the months of the year to keep track of birthdays and anniversaries. my goal was to have this completed in time for christmas cards, and while it was finished far ahead of time, i'm running late on my cards. :( ~~~~~~~~~ for my address box, i used a small open box (bought at cost plus for $3) and cut multicolored stock paper to 3 1/2 x 5. at the top of each left corner, i stamped the letters of the alphabet and months, leaving a card blank at the beginning of each section. that card features a piece of sticky ribbon folded in half to serve as a divider. c'est ça!
