If you had asked me last year, What could possibly top this year's Mad Men-inspired 30th birthday party? I would have said Absolutely Nothing. I had so much fun and Dan made it so very extra special...I couldn't have dreamed of something better. And not that this year was "better" but it was an unexpected, wonderful day in it's own little baby Raine way. ;-) It was very different than the year before! I went to a new parents/breastfeeding support group at my favorite little grocery store (I'm such a dork) and met Dan for lunch. Then there were naps, spit-up, some crying (mostly Raine but also me when I read Dan's card!) gifts & cards in the mail, cupcakes and roses, time in the rocking chair, and a long night's rest because Raine slept from 12 am to 7 am. Hallelujah!
