The Best Fish Dish. I Promise!

Doesn't it look amazing!? Ooooh so appetizing! LOL. I can't seem to remember to take a photo of this dish  BEFORE I eat it! It is currently the FAVE in the Herzing household and it gets gobbled up QUICK!

Real Simple's Much Better Photo! Ha! :)
We got this recipe, Trout with Wild Rice, Radicchio, and Oranges, from Real Simple. Lord knows WHY I picked it because I don't like fish and especially fishy fish and trout sounded like unappealing fishy fish to me! I'm not necessarily wild about oranges or radicchio, either, so WHO KNOWS.

But we're super glad!

We didn't end up going with trout because Dan isn't a big fan and we both agreed that the milder tilapia would suit my taste buds better. Everything else was the same and goodness is it yummy! I think it is a perfect dish for someone who is trying to eat more fish but isn't a big fish fan because there is so much on the plate to enjoy and the fish can actually be a small side portion. I love the crunch and bitterness of the radicchio with the soft sweetness of the oranges, and the earthiness of the wild rice blend and toasted pecans is so delicious and filling. The fish is an after thought!

Please let me know if you try this! I'm such a cheerleader for it. :)
