If your friend is having brain surgery* do not go to work. TAKE. THE. DAY. OFF. Because you will NOT be able to concentrate and will make MANY silly mistakes. You will worry. You will have to go to the bathroom once and CRY. You will be oversensitive and SUPER freaked out by the end of the day. The ENTIRE time you will wish you were there at the hospital to support your loved ones with the power of bringing them GOOD coffee, lovely snacks, and your sweet and SMILING baby boy.
